We are hiring a full-time Account Executive to join our team in Aarhus. You will take qualified pipeline from our SDR team, run a sharp end-to-end sales cycle, and turn ecommerce leaders into long-term Cernel customers.
This role is purely focused on closing - discovery, demos, business cases, negotiation, signed contracts. If turning first meetings into revenue is what gets you out of bed in the morning, read on.
Own the full sales cycle from qualified meeting to signed contract
Run sharp discovery with Heads of E-com, marketing, buying, PIM, and technical leads - and translate Cernel into concrete business outcomes
Lead enterprise deals across multi-brand, multi-language, and multi-channel buyers, navigating procurement, legal, and technical due diligence
Build and own enterprise account plans: map stakeholders, identify champions, and orchestrate executive engagement up to C-level
Manage a clean pipeline in our CRM with accurate forecasts
Work hand-in-hand with our SDR team and feed insights back into outbound
Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and POC scoping - including multi-product POCs for enterprise rollouts
Bring field signals - objections, competition, ICP patterns - back into GTM
2–5 years as an AE or in a comparable closing role (SaaS and ecommerce is a strong bonus)
Proven track record of carrying and hitting quota
Energised by closing and motivated by clear metrics
Comfortable running multi-stakeholder deals across commercial and technical buyers
Resilient, coachable, and disciplined with your pipeline
Full-time, based in Aarhus
Fluent in English and Danish. Other languages besides these are a bonus
