Your Mission: Architecting the Future of Roasting

As our Lead Electrical/Electronics Engineer (EEE), you will serve as the technical authority for our hardware platform. You will drive the end-to-end design, development, and integration of all electrical systems across our product lifecycle—from initial concept and specification through to production and global certification. This is a highly technical, hands-on role with a focus on creating robust, high-precision electromechanical hardware for commercial environments.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead the complete design, development, and integration of all electrical and electronic systems for ROEST products. Project start for our next product development is Q3 2026.

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for the hardware platform, making key architectural and component decisions.

  • Ensure all hardware designs are robust, scalable for mass production, and compliant with global industrial safety and emissions standards.

  • Collaborate intimately with mechanical and firmware engineering teams to create seamlessly integrated and high-performing products.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept and prototyping through testing, validation, and successful transition to manufacturing.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent industrial experience.

  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and scaling electrical systems for commercial products.

  • Deep understanding of LV distribution and industrial power systems, particularly 230/400V AC.

  • Compliance focused design philosophy and awareness of international industrial standards and best practices.

  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.

  • Hands-on experience integrating robust, high-precision electromechanical hardware.

  • Ability to serve as the technical authority for a complex hardware platform.

  • Must be based in Oslo, Norway, or willing to relocate to Oslo for this role.
